July 2015 - NY, NY - T.Tandon collaborates with Maserati Of Manhattan for a Fashion Fundraiser to benefit Dress For Success on July 1. The event featured cocktails, informal fashion showcase of T.Tandon collection, and Pop-up shop to support the cause. Delicious food was served by Iron Chef and Chef-Owner of Toloache, Yerba Buena, and Yerba Buena Perry, Julian Medina.
T.Tandon being an eco and socially conscious, luxe contemporary fashion line that aims to help make being compassionate, the New Black! Designer Tina Tandon is a big advocate of Women empowerment, and places most of the production in women owned factories in India, helping support the women entrepreneurs and women in remote villages be self- reliant. She often works with various Women and children charities, supporting their causes.
Dress for Success is an international not-for-profit organization that promotes the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life. Since starting operations in 1997, Dress for Success has expanded to almost 140 cities in 19 countries. To date, Dress for Success has helped more than 850,000 women work towards self-sufficiency.
The event was attended by many press and celebs including NY Times, Bloomberg TV, Social Magazine, Carey Reilly (Today Show, The View), Delaina Dixon (VH1), and delegates from the United Nations, among others.
